Health coaching that’s not hard to swallow.

I offer session packages that start at 6 sessions and go to 10 sessions or more, depending on your needs! Sessions run every two weeks so you have plenty of time to implement your new healthy habits and experiment between our time together.  We’ll chat, cook, and play together from my home in New Canaan, CT or by phone, whichever you prefer.

Cooking and living healthy will become fun, rather than a chore. I’m going to  help you learn  how to make decisions around you and your family’s health that are aligned with how you want to feel. Happy. Energetic. Loved. ______. (you fill in the blank!)

Please note: All sessions are 45-minutes, except for our first session, which will be one hour. Sessions can also be swapped for grocery store tours or cooking classes!


Learn how to shop like a nutritionist

If you’ve ever been to a health food store, you know that walking in for the first time can be quite daunting.  Even if you are a Whole Foods regular, there’s always plenty to learn. Unfortunately, not everything sold at our local health food stores is healthy. And then, there are the dozens of labels we are left deciphering…

Organic, USDA organic, hormone and pesticide free, local, free-range, cage-free…AH!  What does it all mean?

There are answers, and we will discover them together.  We’ll tour your local health food store, whether it’s Whole Foods (Greenwich or Darien locations) or Mrs. Greens (New Canaan or Stamford locations). Our time together will be so much fun, but also a highly practical experience.  Our 90-minute tour will include discussions on:

  • Food label reading
  • The true meaning of “sugar-free”
  • Pesticide-free vs. local
  • Wild vs. farmed seafood
  • Fresh vs. frozen produce
  • Storing fresh produce
  • Eating produce that’s in season
  • The ultimate shopping list
  • Decoding fancy marketing claims

Learn to eat healthy while you relax with your fellow foodies…and maybe enjoy some red wine 🙂

Wouldn’t it be great if we were all equipped with the skills to be healthy chefs on our own? The truth is, very few are innately skilled when it comes to having slick moves in the kitchen. Private cooking classes are designed to help take the guesswork out of stocking a healthy kitchen and show you the best ways to prepare healthful, delicious dishes. In only a few hours, you’ll be squared away with foods and meals to last you for a few days (think smoothies, salads, and snacks!).

Groceries will be purchased ahead of time. The recipes will be tailored to your unique lifestyle and food preferences. We’ll go through the grocery list and recipes together, and enjoy time in the kitchen – even if you claim you can’t cook. Anyone can cook. All it takes is a bit of experimenting and passion. Email support is included for the week that follows.

Price of food is not included.

Parties of 4-5 participants are optimal.
